NRD Researchers developed: (i) a novel hybrid material (a-SiO2 / NCD); (ii) templates of NCD fibers for field emission applications; and (iii) a novel nanocomposite of CNT reinforced PMMA modified HA for the new generation of biomedical bone cement and implant coatings. The results were published in Chemistry of Materials 2008, Applied Physic Letters 2008 e Advanced Functional Materials 2008.
